Sambuca Oro Borghetti was created in 2001 after the research carried out by Fratelli Branca, and in slightly more than ten years it has already managed to become one of the leading brands in its category.

Sambuca Oro Borghetti is distinguished for its superior quality and unmistakable flavor. Its taste is as precious as the fruit of the plant from which it derives: Illicium Verum, the star anise.

Serving Suggestions

Neat
Served just as a refreshment.

On the Rocks
Borghetti Sambuca Oro can be served with ice. The ice exalts the flavors and the coffee beans add another layer of taste that hint toward an espresso drink.

With Toasted Coffee Beans
In Italy, it is common to serve neat Sambuca with floating coffee beans: they call it Sambuca con mosca (Sambuca with flies). The beans are there as an ornament, but they can be chewed to bring out the taste of the star anise. An Italian tradition is to use three coffee beans, representing health, wealth, and happiness.

In Coffee
Borghetti Sambuca Oro can be added to coffee as a sweetener instead of sugar. This mixed drink in Italy is called caffè corretto (corrected coffee).
