The Teelings are renowned for doing things differently and our whiskeys embody this entrepreneurial spirit. From novel maturation techniques to reviving ancient mash bills, Teeling Whiskey is at the forefront of expanding the range of tastes available within Irish whiskey.

Irish whiskey is smooth and approachable by nature. Unlike Kentucky or the Scottish Highlands, our unique temperate climate results in little variation in temperature during maturation, producing Irish whiskey’s signature mellow taste. For us, though, this is just the beginning.

Building on this approachable base we experiment at all stages of the process. From the malting and blending of grains to the distillation process itself, we dare to be different. If distilling is a science, the process of blending is a craft perfected by human palates and noses. Varying the time, style and number of barrels used adds the subtlety and complexity of flavor we pride ourselves in.

After putting all this care and attention into what goes into our whiskey, we don’t like to take anything out. We don’t chill filter our whiskey and we always bottle it at 46%, leaving as much of the character and richness in the bottle as possible. Tasting Notes

Our flagship Irish whiskey and attempt to create the most interesting blended Irish whiskey. This small batch bottling consists of hand selected casks which are given further maturation in ex-rum barrels imparting extra character and smooth flavor unique to Irish whiskey. It is bottled at 46% using no-chill filtration which completes an Irish whiskey of true character.

NOSE: Inviting vanilla and spice with sweet notes of rum
PALATE: A uniquely smooth, sweet and slightly woody marriage that sparkles on the tongue
FINISH: Sweet spice finish complimented by woody undertones

Teeling Irish Coffee

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ oz. Teeling Small Batch
4 oz. Freshly Brewed, Robust Coffee
½ oz. Spiced Stout Syrup
Orange Zested Cream
Freshly Grated Nutmeg

METHOD
Preheat glass with some warm water and discard, add the Teeling Whiskey, stout syrup, brewed coffee and stir to combine. Warm a large spoon and gently poor the cream over the back of the spoon and onto the coffee. Garnish with a light dusting of grated nutmeg.

Tasting Notes

This award-winning addition is one of only a handful of Single Grain bottlings in the world. It is fully matured in California Cabernet Sauvignon barrels resulting in an intensely fruity and beautifully amber liquid, with lush berry notes. Using hand selected casks and bottling at 46% with no-chill filtration, this whiskey captures all the unique flavor from the single grain.

NOSE: Spicy with fruit notes intermingling with an underlying sweetness
PALATE: Strong spice at the start evolving into lush red berries and grapes, with drying tannins at the end
FINISH: Dry finish dominated by wood and spice

The New York Sour

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. Teeling Single Grain
1 oz. Lemon Juice
½ oz. Simple Syrup
¾ oz. Egg White
¼ oz. Cabernet Sauvignon Wine

METHOD
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake vigorously over ice and strain back into another shaker. Dry shake and strain into glass. Float the red wine over the surface to serve.

Tasting Notes

The third release in the premium range of Teeling expressions. This single malt is made from 100% malted barley from a range of different ages including malt whiskey distilled in 1991. It consists of a vatting of 5 different wine cask (Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy, Cabernet Sauvignon) finished Irish malt whiskeys. Like all of the Teeling whiskeys it is bottled at 46% with no-chill filtration allowing for all the natural flavors of the whiskey to be retained.

NOSE: Vibrant notes of melon, figs, toffee and lemon
PALATE: A complementary mix of dried fruits, citrus, vanilla, spice and cloves
FINISH: Long, sweet finish balanced by dry tannins from the wood
